Description
Who you'll be:
The role supports the efficient and effective project management of CSD cybersecurity and IT-based projects, encompassing process improvement, technology implementation, proof-of-concept execution, new feature requests, and policy development. This position covers the full project lifecycle from initiation through close-out, and is responsible for maintaining and updating the CSD Project Management Methodology (CPM2) and the PMO SharePoint site.
What you'll do:
- Provide experienced IT Project Managers to facilitate CSD projects and perform all roles/responsibilities of a project manager across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and close-out.
- Maintain and annually review/update the CSD Project Management Methodology (CPM2).
- Develop and maintain a CSD PMO SharePoint site automating and centralizing the CPM2 process where technically feasible.
- Develop and maintain project management templates, checklists, forms, and flow charts supporting CPM2 and other PM functions.
- Monitor and measure project performance through results-driven metrics; provide recommendations on project resourcing.
- Develop and maintain a formalized CSD PMO training program.
- Develop and sustain a near-real-time CSD PMO reporting format tracking milestones, risks/issues, project health, dependencies, and funding, leveraging tools such as Jira, Risk Register, Power BI, and Power Automate.
- Support development and maintenance of a repeatable process for a multi-year CSD strategic plan and roadmap, plus a granular current-fiscal-year view.
- Provide documentation support (Concept of Operations, metrics, technical writing) and maintain PowerPoint/SharePoint content for PMO efforts.
- Provide meeting minutes for all scheduled meetings within 3 business days; maintain a master action item list.
What you need:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT/cybersecurity project management; or, with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, 3 years of such experience.
- Experience with CPM2-style project methodologies and Agile/SAFe delivery cadences.
