WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Responsible for the processes in the Operations chain including safety, quality, logistics, warehousing and distribution
- Coordinate inbound and outbound international & domestic shipments for EC segment
- Track forwarder performance (transit times and other services)
- Select cost effective transportation modes for international shipping (ocean, ground, air and customs)
- Administer all documentation including Export Declaration, Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Airway Bills, Bill of Lading, E-way bill, Shipment manifest etc
- Manage relationships with Customs brokers, other service providers and communicate with import/export related authorities
- Organizing the dispatch of goods from nVent warehouse in Mumbai and Bangalore
- Communicate transportation information to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor inbound/outbound shipments out of nVent warehouse, complete inwards goods receipt in ERP and assist with inventory cycle counts
- Transport bill provisions
- Generating MIS reports
- Storage of documents
YOU HAVE:
- Degree holder with specialization in Logistics, Warehousing & Distribution
- 3 to 5yrs experience in Logistics, Warehousing & Distribution
- MS Office and ERP knowledge (Infor M3 or SAP)
