Strategy & Consulting - Global Network - CFO - Platforms - SAP Manager

Own the end-to-end delivery of SAP Finance transformation engagements, leading project teams and senior client stakeholders, ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables, and driving the growth of the SAP Finance practice in Mexico.

Functional & Solution Leadership 

• Own the end-to-end solution design for complex SAP Finance engagements, ensuring alignment with client objectives and SAP best practices. 

• Lead Fit-Gap analysis, requirements workshops, and blueprint sessions with senior finance stakeholders. 

• Validate functional designs, configuration decisions, and integration approaches across FI, CO, and FSCM workstreams. 

• Act as the primary point of escalation for functional issues and client concerns. 

Delivery & Project Management 

• Manage project delivery end-to-end (planning, resourcing, risk, budget, and timeline adherence) for one or more SAP Finance workstreams. 

• Oversee configuration, testing, conversion, and deployment activities, ensuring deliverable quality and consistency. 

• Lead cutover, hyper care, and go-live activities, coordinating across functional, technical, and business teams. 

• Establish continuous communication with project stakeholders, internal and external, including steering committee updates. 

People Leadership & Talent Development 

• Guide and develop consultants and senior consultants on the team, ensuring day-to-day work and deliverables quality and consistency. 

• Support staffing, career development, and performance feedback for team members. 

• Support the development of the Finance practice: team members, capabilities, and solutions. 

• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and the creation of reusable assets and accelerators. 

Business Development & Practice Growth 

• Support business development activities (RFP responses, proposal development, client pitches). 

• Build and develop value business cases to support transformation journeys aiming for productivity and cost efficiencies. 

• Partner with change management teams to drive stakeholder alignment, training, and sustained adoption of new ways of working. 

Required Experience 

• 8+ years of SAP Finance consulting experience, with at least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation. 

• Proven participation in at least 4 full-cycle (end-to-end) implementations, including experience leading a workstream or module end-to-end. 

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects (implementation, rollout, or ECC conversion) in global or multinational environments. 

• Proven ability to lead teams and manage project delivery end-to-end. 

• Mastery of SAP Activate methodology. 

• Client-facing consulting experience at a senior level; ability to engage and manage business and finance stakeholders independently. 

• Effective storytelling, both visual (PowerPoint) and oral, in English. 

• We deliver our work mostly remotely. However, as part of the global Network, sometimes it is required to travel and work closely with our clients in their offices. Willingness and ability to work at client’s locations mostly across USA, but also other locations, for short or long term is required.

Desired 

• SAP Certified Application Professional – Finance / Activate 

• PMP or Agile/Scrum methodologies certificate 

• Experience in a top-tier consulting firm 

• Experience leading or coaching teams of 5+ consultants 

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related Engineering field. 

Languages 

• Spanish: native or advanced. 

• English: advanced (excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing and executive engagements).
