We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to spearhead the design, customization, and optimization of our core financial accounting processes. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable, compliant SAP solutions and ensure seamless integration with controlling (CO) and other core modules (MM, SD, FICO, RE-FX, AP, AR, ECCS) as well as several subledger own-developments.

You will support global operations over 35 entities as well as work on global projects.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Serve as the key interface between Finance Business, IT teams and other stakeholders

• Analyse and document business requirements related to SAP Finance processes

• Support the implementation and optimization of SAP solutions

• Drive process improvements and standardization across Finance functions

• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA transformation and related future initiatives

• Gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements

• Translate business needs into SAP finance solution designs and specifications

• Conduct process and gap analyses and recommend improvements

• Coordinate and support testing activities including defect resolution

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP consultants and project teams throughout project lifecycles

YOUR PROFILE

• Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology or related fields.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or SAP Finance Consultant. Experience in a banking environment is an advantage.

• Platform: Good knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA Finance processes. SAP Finance certification is considered an advantage.

• Key Skills: Deep understanding of accounting principles, record-to-report (R2R) processes, and complex financial reporting.

• Soft Skills: Fluent in English and/or German (written and spoken), strong communication skills, high motivation and drive to get things done, hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial spirit, high flexibility

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions

• Strong stakeholder management and proven communication skills with the ability to decompose complex solutions into compelling storylines

• Strong understanding of key business processes related to accounting, data flows, interfaces and related configuration within SAP

• Proactive, collaborative and result-oriented mindset
