Job Description:

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Project Management Specialist for an 8-month contract to support and facilitate the successful execution of projects within Hitachi, Ltd. This role will involve coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and ensuring timely communication among stakeholders.

How you’ll make an impact:
* Assist project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects according to established methodologies and timelines.
* Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs, and issue registers.
* Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and escalate issues to the project manager as needed.
* Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes and action items.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.
* Support resource allocation and tracking to ensure project objectives are met within budget and scope.
* Prepare and present project updates and reports to various stakeholders.
* Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
* Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned to contribute to project success.

Your background:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in a project coordination or project management support role, preferably within a corporate environment.
* Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
* PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
