Description
A plaintiff personal injury law firm is hiring a bilingual (English/Spanish) Litigation Attorney for its Las Vegas office. You'll handle personal injury cases from filing through resolution alongside experienced attorneys, in a collaborative, mentorship-focused team. This is a full-time, in-office role.
What you'll do
- Help manage personal injury cases from filing through resolution
- Investigate cases to establish liability and assess damages
- Draft, file and argue key litigation documents, including discovery motions, law and motion, and oppositions to summary judgment
- Work with attorneys and legal staff to develop and carry out case strategy
- Keep clients informed and guide them through each stage of litigation
- Handle complex, high-value litigation matters
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish (required)
- Attorney in good standing, licensed to practice law in Nevada
- 3+ years of personal injury experience with a strong trial focus
- At least 3 civil jury trials to verdict
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law and procedure, plus solid research and legal writing skills
- Organized, able to manage multiple cases and deadlines, and discreet with confidential information
Compensation and benefits
- $150,000+ per year, depending on experience
