Job Summary: 

The Shipping Clerk supports daily shipping operations within the manufacturing facility. This entry-level role prepares, packages, labels, and documents outgoing shipments and helps verify incoming and outgoing items so orders ship accurately and on time. The Shipping Clerk I works under the direction of the Shipping Lead and Shipping Clerk II and follows company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities: 

· Pick, pack, and prepare products for domestic and international shipment according to packing instructions and customer requirements

· Prepare and verify shipping documents, packing slips, and labels for accuracy

· Enter and update shipment information in ERP and carrier shipping systems (e.g., FedEx, UPS)

· Follow ESD-safe handling and packaging requirements for electronic assemblies and components

· Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues to the Shipping Clerk II or Shipping Lead

· Assist with scheduling carrier pick-ups and staging shipments for on-time departure

· Assist with inventory transactions and cycle counts as directed

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping work area

· Communicate with other departments to support timely delivery of products

· Perform additional tasks as assigned to support company operations

Qualifications: 

· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

· 0–2 years of experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse role

· Basic knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation

· Forklift certification a plus, or willingness to be trained

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

· Basic computer skills; familiarity with shipping software or ERP systems a plus

· Willingness to learn and follow established procedures and safety practices

Physical Requirements: 

· Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.

· Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate equipment.
