About the role
Sales Administrator - 12 Month Max Term opportunity
We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Sales Administrator to support our Distribution Sales team. This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of our sales operation, ensuring enquiries, orders, proposals, logistics, and customer communications are coordinated seamlessly from start to finish.
Working closely with BDM, Marketing, Operations, and Logistics teams, you'll help drive an exceptional customer experience while supporting business growth through efficient sales administration and lead management.
What You'll Be Doing
Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
Coordinate freight quotations and bookings with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
Support the sales team with proposal preparation, pricing accuracy, reporting, and administration activities.
Manage incoming enquiries and lead allocation, helping maximise opportunities across the sales team.
Partner with Marketing to develop and maintain professional sales collateral, presentations, case studies, and customer communications.
Proactively engage dormant and prospective customers to support pipeline growth and business development activities.
Prepare KPI reporting and provide valuable insights to support team performance and decision-making.
Act as a key liaison between sales and internal stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and delivery of customer outcomes.
What You'll Bring
Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Experience supporting sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
Proven experience preparing professional proposals, presentations, reports, or customer-facing documentation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful reporting insights.
Confidence managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and delivering results.
