Saturday and Sunday 300 PM - 1100 PM
Starting Pay is $22.05 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuation support, incident documentation, and communication with campus representatives and first responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
