Job Responsibilities:
Assists across multiple areas of staffing/recruiting: Talent evaluation and screening, job advertising and posting, talent prospecting as well as talent staffing and planning.
1. Know and understand Bowling Green Metalforming Quality and Environmental policies.
2. Work with hiring managers and recruiters to understand the company's staffing requirements and align activities in the talent acquisition process.
3. Understand job descriptions and each role's specific skills, experience, and cultural fit requirements.
4. Develop ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
5. Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
6. Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates.
7. Research candidates on online platforms such as LinkedIn and job boards.
8. Build relationships with potential candidates through outreach emails, messages, social media, and candidate engagement activities.
9. Post industry trends, company news, and hiring information to engage and attract candidates.
10. Participate in job fairs and industry networking events to source potential candidates.
11. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
12. Prescreen candidates and create prescreening questions for hiring manager collaboration and approval.
13. Determine the most suitable candidates by reviewing resumes and conducting interviews. Present shortlisted candidates for consideration.
14. Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
15. Assist in scheduling and coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
16. Extend offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of hiring managers and in accordance with company guidelines.
17. Maintain accurate documentation on candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and recruiting activities.
18. Maintain sourcing tools and databases to support candidate sourcing and management.
19. Track, analyze, maintain, and present recruitment and selection data to leadership, corporate teams, launch teams, and auditors.
20. Work cooperatively with all members of the staffing team to develop and implement staffing plans and activities.
21. Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
22. Continuously learn and adapt to changes in talent acquisition practices and technologies.
23. Work under critical deadlines and heavy workloads with minimal supervision.
24. Maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
25. Perform other duties as required.
What we are looking for:
- High School diploma or GED
- Post-secondary education preferred in related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience candidate sourcing preferred
- Minimum of 1 year recruiting for manufacturing required
Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency with LinkedIn, Indeed, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HRIS platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
