Supply Chain, Purchasing EDI Analyst

Position Summary:
•    Support end-to-end EDI integration between suppliers and SAP using Covisint and Seeburger, ensuring reliable processing of ASNs, scheduling agreements/purchase orders, and invoices.
•    Monitor, analyze, and resolve EDI transaction errors, collaborating with business users, suppliers, and technical teams to maintain supply chain continuity and improve data accuracy.
•    Configure and Support SAP MM and procurement processes, including vendor onboarding, purchase order processing, material master maintenance, and partner profile management.
•    Participate in EDI implementation and enhancement projects, gathering business requirements, performing testing, validating mappings, and coordinating successful deployments with trading partners.
•    Develop process documentation, training materials, and KPI reporting to improve operational efficiency, reduce transaction failures, and support continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing and supply chain operations.
•    This position is supported by a strong and collaborative management team. 

Primary Responsibilities:
•    Manage and support EDI transactions between suppliers and SAP using Covisint and Seeburger, ensuring the successful processing of ASNs, scheduling agreements/purchase orders, and invoices.
•    Monitor EDI interfaces and proactively investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve transaction failures to minimize supply chain disruptions and maintain data integrity.
•    Administer and support SAP MM procurement processes, including supplier onboarding, material master maintenance, purchasing document processing, and EDI partner profile configuration.
•    Collaborate with business stakeholders, suppliers, and IT teams to gather requirements, execute testing, validate EDI mappings, and implement system enhancements and new trading partner integrations.
•    Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and operational metrics while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and supplier collaboration within a supportive team environment

Required Skills and Abilities
•    Strong interest in information systems management or business systems within a multinational organization
•    Desire to be part of a highly collaborative global team.
•    Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with IT department, cross-functional teams and suppliers.
•    ERP (SAP MM), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience preferred
•    Working knowledge of EDI standards and transaction sets, including ANSI X12 (e.g. 830, 850, 855, 856, 810, 862), EDIFACT equivalent, and XML formats used within automotive, manufacturing, and supply chain environments.
•    Experience or similar using Seeburger EDI software to convert and process electronic business documents.
•    Experience or similar working with the Covisint Web EDI Portal to exchange purchasing documents (e.g. ASN/purchase orders)
•    Strong interest in building and applying knowledge in enterprise resource planning systems, procurement business systems and Artificial Intelligence (Predictive AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI)
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Education and Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree required (high preference in Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Operations Management, Business Administration, Computer Science or Management Information Systems))
•    2-5 years of experience Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Management Information Systems
•    Automotive experience is preferred
•    Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary.
