You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour
Valid Driver's License:
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
- Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license that complies with the regulations of the job state (C124).
Access Control/Badge Experience:
- Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201).
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet:
- Candidates must demonstrate proficiency and comfort in using computers or tablets for job-related tasks (B204).
Customer Service Experience:
- Candidates are required to have relevant customer service experience (B219) that showcases their ability to interact effectively with clients and customers.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points for a retail distribution location, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
- Control access for delivery vehicles, vendors, contractors, and/or authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
