The Post Doctoral Fellow at I³R will work as a member of the research team and will participate in data collection activities, develop tools for efficient and reliable data collection, and prepare reports and publications of research results in R&D areas within the food tech and/or health tech sectors. They will focus on the translation of basic research to design and development of products, technologies and subsequent deployment.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:
A PhD or comparable advanced degree and expertise in engineering, data science, statistics, food science, nutrition, neuroscience, food or health policy, health education, or related fields
2 or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in working towards product development in the food or health sectors.
Prior experience in data collection and processing of complex data sets
Ability to program in Python, R, or Matlab
Ability to plan and anticipate actions according to changing priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience troubleshooting in demanding environments
Ability to document activities and develop product documentation as needed
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team while being able to work independently
Share a desire to improve access to high-quality food, health and economic opportunity
