SAP Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SAP BASIS Lead to join the team. This role will be responsible for leading and managing the SAP BASIS operations and optimizing SAP landscapes within a developing cloud ecosystem. The SAP BASIS Lead will play a critical role in supporting enterprise applications and ensuring the security, scalability, and availability of IT infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Lead SAP BASIS administration including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and upgrades across S/4HANA, HANA, and SAP BTP environments.
• Oversee SAP GRC Access Control, including risk analysis, SoD management, and access workflow governance.
• Manage advanced SAP security (PFCG roles, authorization objects) and support audit/compliance requirements.
• Ensure optimal performance and secure operation of SAP systems on Linux and Windows platforms.
• Support and maintain SAP S/4HANA infrastructure with strong focus on reliability, availability, and backup/recovery.
• Monitor and optimize storage, database, and network performance for on‑premises or cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure high availability of mission‑critical SAP environments.
• Collaborate with application, development, network, and security teams to deliver aligned technical solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge‑sharing within the team.
• Stay updated on SAP and cloud technologies and recommend improvements or innovations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 6+ years of hands‑on SAP BASIS experience, including S/4HANA, HANA, and SAP BTP.
• Strong knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control (risk analysis, SoD, access workflows).
• Deep expertise in SAP security concepts: PFCG roles, authorization objects, and audit compliance.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows enterprise environments.
• Proven experience managing SAP S/4HANA infrastructure with high availability and performance.
• Solid understanding of storage systems, network tuning, and SAP performance optimization.
• Experience deploying and managing SAP in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
