Description
The role of the Sales Operations Associate (SOA) is to provide operational order support to account manager(s) or account team(s). SOA is responsible for facilitating the progression of orders through the order cycle (order entry to invoice), and resolve order issues (e.g. drop ship emergencies, backorder management, bid escalation, etc.) by escalating with Backoffice departments.
What you will do
Order entry, including installs, adding contracts and bids.
Web order processing through the sales order router.
Manage bids entry, amend, and win bids in the bid router, as needed.
Ensure proper purchasing contract(s) and terms are selected upon order entry.
Daily maintenance of sales order routers and sales order manager screens.
Ensure all started tasks are seen through to completion.
Facilitate and follow up on Customer Relations/ServiceNow Request to ensure a frictionless order flow experience for customers, and sales coworkers.
Provide daily maintenance of operational assistance to release orders on hold in the Sales Order Manager and Sales Order Router.
Act as point of contact for order status requests with account manager(s), account team(s) and basic level customer requests.
What we expect of you
Minimum basic requirements
High School Diploma.
Intermediate to advanced PC skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Flexibility, adaptability, and an optimistic view of projects and work environment.
Customer service oriented.
Strong organizational skills.
Able to work with multiple personalities.
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize.
Ability to communicate frequently with coworkers about shipping/logistic issues. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Ability to work in a high stress and visibility environment.
Preferred skills, experience and qualities needed
Associates’ and/or Bachelor’s degree.
One year sales experience.
Pay: $20.19 - $27.89 hourly
