The Senior Manager, Financial Operations & Transformation is a unique opportunity to blend strategic financial leadership with cutting-edge technology innovation. You'll drive end-to-end financial management—overseeing integrated planning, forecasting, and accrual management—while championing AI and automation initiatives that modernize operations. Ideally, you bring IT project management experience combined with financial acumen, enabling you to lead a high-performing team in developing transformation strategies, roadmaps, and timelines.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Oversee Integrated Financial Planning & Reporting: Manage end-to-end financial processes, including forecasting, accrual management, and portfolio reporting. Ensure accurate, balanced financials with current forecasts, documented variances, and timely resolution to support informed decision-making
- Drive Process Optimization & Transformation: Identify and implement automation and transformation opportunities using emerging technologies (with a focus on AI) to streamline manual processes and reduce operational effort
- Direct Oversight of Financial Controls & Ensure Compliance: Develop and maintain structured internal controls that ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, and compliance. Contribute to operational integrity and financial governance standards
- Oversee Supplier & Contract Management: Manage supplier management activities, contract coordination, and resource tracking to support vendor relationships, ensure proper recovery, and drive both compliance and operational efficiency
- Build Financial Acumen & Relationships: Foster financial literacy and accountability across RCT, serving as a financial subject matter expert. Develop strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders and team members
- Monitor & Escalate Financial Risks: Identify and escalate financial risks impacting Project/Program/Portfolio performance to appropriate stakeholders, supporting proactive risk management
- Lead Strategic Financial Initiatives: Execute assigned financial and portfolio initiatives aligned with senior leadership objectives, contributing to departmental goals and performance targets
- Champion Process Improvement & Innovation: Develop and execute strategies and roadmaps to achieve automation and optimization, demonstrating commitment to continuous improvement while maintaining financial accountability and operational integrity
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- 3-5 years of financial analysis, reporting, and operations experience combined with IT project management expertise, with a demonstrated focus on transforming financial processes
- Experience with AI and emerging technology initiatives, with enthusiasm and capability to identify and implement automation opportunities to drive operational efficiency
- Proven experience leading and managing teams to develop transformation strategies, roadmaps, and timelines for process optimization and automation initiatives
- Expert proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, Vlookup/Xlookup, Power queries) and demonstrated ability to develop compelling executive presentations
- Strategic thinker with strong communication and collaborative leadership skills, demonstrating proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced, matrix environments while building relationships across diverse stakeholders
Nice-to-have:
- Experience supporting financial transformation or process optimization initiatives, with background in financial services or regulated industries including foundational knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and accrual management
- Proficiency with financial reporting tools and systems, including project management tools (Planview, MIS) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with contract or supplier management and knowledge of RBC systems and platforms (RBC Connect, SharePoint)
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and demonstrated ability to communicate financial insights to technical and business stakeholders
