As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Verification in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
