Description
“ We're looking for an enthusiastic junior designer to join the Sports Design team. As a sports designer you'll work within an award winning team on an exciting and diverse range of sports output for Sky. “ – Harry Ward, Creative Director.
What you'll do:
Support Sky Sports’ broadcast output with reactive graphics across a range of brands and programming.
Create content for major sporting events, including the Premier League, Formula One, Women’s Super League, cricket, and golf.
Deliver a variety of creative work, including live broadcast graphics, studio assets, and programme branding.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a world-class broadcaster.
Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all creative output aligns with Sky Sports’ visual identity.
Communicate ideas and design decisions clearly and confidently.
Work proactively within the Sports Design team while collaborating with and taking direction from senior designers.
Support Sky Sports News when required, contributing to live breaking news coverage and newsroom output.
What you'll bring:
A passion for graphic design, with a strong eye for typography, layout, colour, and visual storytelling.
Formal graphic design training and an understanding of current design trends and best practices.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator; motion design experience is a plus.
The ability to develop creative concepts and communicate your design process from idea to delivery.
Strong creative and conceptual skills, with an interest in broadcast graphics, branding, information design, and motion design.
Experience creating engaging visual content across television, digital, and social platforms.
An understanding of working within established brand guidelines and maintaining brand consistency.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment.

How you’ll work
We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the Osterley office per week.
