Job Overview:
Furnished Finder is looking for a Junior Designer to join our Creative team. Reporting to the Creative Director, you'll produce marketing assets across a variety of channels and formats — from social and email to onsite landing pages, sales collateral, and more. This is a great opportunity for an early-career designer looking to build range and grow quickly in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone with good design chops, a creative eye, and a handle on AI design tools.
Responsibilities:
You'll help elevate and implement the visual identity of Furnished Finder across multiple integrated marketing channels. You’ll also have a focus on our organic and paid social presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Reddit—building a consistent creative voice that people recognize, trust, and engage with.

Day to day, you'll be:
- Designing and producing social content for organic and paid placements across all four platforms
- Ideating and pitching video concepts for various formats like carousels, short videos, educational series, and other trending creative types
- Sourcing and selecting photography for landing pages, emails, display ads, and other marketing collateral and events
- Using AI-assisted design platforms to move fast without cutting corners on quality
Qualifications:
- Experience: An Austin-based art designer with 1 to 3 years in an agency or in-house creative department. This means you've shipped real work, not just passion projects.
- Background: Art direction or design is your foundation. You think visually first, and you know how to translate a brand idea into something that stops a thumb mid-scroll.
- Good design chops: You’ve got a good eye for layout, photography, typography, color theory, and how they all work together to create strong visual communication.
- AI fluency: You're already using AI design tools in your workflow, like really using them. You know where they help and where they don't, but you still approach it with an explorer's mindset.
- Social instincts: You understand platform nuance. What works on TikTok isn't what works on Instagram. You know how to take a brief and turn it into successful platform-relevant content.
- Nice to have: A presence of your own. Show us your social profile, we want to see your point of view, and we want to see how you think.
