We are looking for a Revenue Growth Manager, Beverage based in İstanbul and who will be responsible for leading the strategic approach that helps PepsiCo to maximize revenue and deliver sustainable growth by optimizing Pack Price, Promotional Spend, Product / Account Mix, Trade Terms.
This is a critical role to drive long-term sustainable top line growth for the “Turkey Beverage Category”. The role defines holistic 3-5 years Pack Price Architecture strategies, by leveraging data analytics and insights. The role will be the key point of influence in enabling growth via Occasion and consumer-based pack and price architecture through the year. As part of this the role will also collaborate with RGM capability workstreams and be an important contributor of beverage commercial teams.
Responsibilities
- Design the Beverage Net Revenue Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in Pack Price Architecture, working closely with Beverage Category teams, BU Commercial Teams and Sales / Sales Finance Teams
- Influence Category Strategic Plan (ICP) Revenue Algorithm defining the 3-5 year Pack Price Architecture strategy, including but not limited to price tiering and geography/ channel/segment base price differentiation, that is fully integrated with commercial levers
- Make sure that Pack Price Architecture address internal, consumer, customer and competitor objectives and identify Pack Price changes to realise consumer opportunities & drive revenue realisation
- Support definition of ongoing revenue realisation activities, to increase Net Rev / Kg and drive profitable Revenue growth – typically the key plan-makers in the AOP - whilst protecting share
- Work with Marketing teams for the right Pack Price for new product launches
- Drive Pack Price Architecture agenda for “Bimonthly Revenue Council”; ie; step back review of in market and commercial performance (audience: GM, Executive Commercial members, CFO, Sales Leadership, Marketing)
- Lead deep-dives to fully understand and address performance issues (by product/ account)
- Work closely with RGM Capability Team and ICC to Execute RGM capability agenda and Northstar projects like Price Elasticity, BL/OBPA within RGM's core work and within the finance and commercial functions
- Define course-correcting actions from bespoke projects / performance deep-dives
Qualifications
- Applicant must be immediately credible in Revenue Management: 7+ years CPG experience with at least 3 years Revenue Management experience, preferably including both Strategy & Execution and covering each discipline (Pack/Price/Promotions/Trade Terms/Mix)
- Deep experience in revenue management and/or consumer research techniques: Deep analytical expertise, financial / P&L competency, consumer research experience, Conjoint experience, elasticity measurement techniques
- Insights & agency experience across both Shopper & Consumer
- Experience with big data techniques desired, but not essential
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in clear, simple & logical terms & build compelling presentations & professional communications (in English & Turkish)
- Strategic thinking skills – ability to review complex data, pulling out key insights & translating into high level storylines & concise practical plans for execution
- Commercial Acumen – Strong commercial and analytical ability required to manage both the operational and strategic agenda and strong analytical and Excel skills
- Self starter – able to drive progress in an ambiguous environment
- Strong results orientation, track record of hitting and exceeding targets
- Change management – leading large scale change throughout levels of an organization
- Can articulate complex issues in an easy to understand way
