Since assignments follow coverage needs, your specific worksite can vary, and we value officers who are reliable across the broader area.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a dependable, visible security presence at assigned locationsPatrol interior and exterior areas to spot and report concerns earlyMonitor and control access at entrances and key pointsOffer courteous assistance to customers, staff, and visitorsDe-escalate disputes and respond calmly to disturbancesDocument daily activity and report incidents accuratelyCommunicate promptly with management and emergency services when neededRequirementsPossess or be able to obtain Maryland security guard certification through our licensed agency under Maryland State Police requirementsMeet Maryland's minimum age and eligibility standards for security workPass a criminal background checkReliable transportation to reach assigned sites in the Mount Airy, Frederick and surrounding areasStrong communication and situational awarenessAble to stand and walk for extended periodsPrior experience in security or a related field is welcome but not requiredBenefitsOpportunities to grow as our roster of assignments increasesFlexible scheduling to match the times you can workWeekly pay, issued on our regular pay cycleExtra shifts available across various client sitesUniform & equipmentClass A black uniform required (ability to obtain); equipment may be issued.ScheduleAvailability for days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays is helpful.How to applySubmit your application using the Apply button.
