Ensure departmental goals, key performance indicators, and strategic initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives.
- Logistics & Distribution Management: Oversee all logistics operations, including inbound purchased parts, intercompany transfers, vehicle transportation, third-party logistics providers, warehousing, inventory movements, and outbound distribution. Ensure cost-effective, timely, and efficient movement of both components and finished vehicles while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Partner with Sales, Operations, Production, and the S&OP function to develop demand-driven inventory strategies for both parts and vehicle chassis. Optimize inventory placement, replenishment, just-in-time supply, production scheduling, and capacity planning to maximize inventory turns while supporting customer demand.
- Cost Reduction & Working Capital Management: Develop and execute one-, three-, and five-year strategic roadmaps to reduce purchased material costs, freight expense, warehousing costs, vehicle logistics expenses, and overall supply chain operating costs.
