About the Role: Attentive AI is a construction technology company building the future of takeoff and estimating software. As we continue to scale our go-to-market motion, our Data Operations function plays a central role in sustaining a high-velocity outbound sales engine. We are seeking a detail-oriented, entry-level Data Analyst to join this team and support a growing roster of 15+ Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) with clean, enriched, and actionable B2B prospect data across the US and Canadian construction market. This role offers direct, measurable impact on pipeline quality and revenue generation from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Data Management
- Source and maintain a high-quality B2B prospecting database targeting general contractors, subcontractors, specialty trades, and material suppliers.
- Use ZoomInfo and Seamless.AI to research, enrich, and verify contact-level and company-level data.
- Perform regular data hygiene tasks including deduplication, validation, and formatting of prospect records.
- Organize and maintain structured spreadsheets and tracking files to support SDR outreach workflows.
Market Research & GTM Support
- Conduct market research to identify new target segments, whitespace opportunities, and construction trade verticals.
- Assist in mapping Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria to sourced prospect lists.
- Support go-to-market strategy execution by preparing segmented and prioritized lead lists aligned to campaign goals.
- Monitor competitor activity and construction market trends to surface relevant intelligence for the sales team.
Reporting & Analysis
- Build and maintain Excel/Google Sheets-based dashboards and reports tracking pipeline coverage, data quality metrics, and SDR outreach performance.
- Identify patterns and trends in lost-deal data, outreach response rates, and ICP match rates.
- Present weekly data readouts to the Senior Data Analyst and sales leadership.
Requirements:
Must-Have Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets including formulas, pivot tables, filters, and data formatting.
- Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of ZoomInfo and/or Seamless.AI for prospecting and contact enrichment.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct structured market research and synthesize findings.
- Understanding of B2B sales motions, GTM strategy, and outbound pipeline fundamentals.
- Familiarity with automation tools and the practical application of AI in everyday tasks using AI to work faster and more accurately, with sound judgment on when and how to apply it.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, or RocketReach.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for data entry and management.
- Basic Python or SQL knowledge for data manipulation and automation (not required but a strong plus).
- Knowledge of the US/Canada construction industry NAICS codes, trade segments, procurement cycles.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience in data operations, sales operations, market research, or business analytics.
