Senior Analyst, Investments (Hybrid)

Job Summary

This position reports either to the Senior Director, Investments or Director, Investments. Works closely with the rest of the investment office to manage the investment portfolios of MHHS. Supports workflow within one of the three investment office verticals – Public Equities, Hedge Funds/Fixed Income, and Private Markets.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:  Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred

Licenses/Certifications:  Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

• Two (2) years of investment management experience preferred, allocator experience preferred (i.e. conducting investment due diligence on fund managers). 
• Experience in the non-profit investment management space preferred (i.e., Universities, Endowments, Healthcare, etc.)
• Organized, strong attention to detail and ability to work with diverse teams
• Effective oral and written communication skills

Principal Accountabilities

• Fund manager due diligence.
• Monitors portfolio of investments and maintains performance monitoring systems.
• Makes recommendations on manager sizing, portfolio construction and asset allocation.
• Partners with Investment Consultant and other relevant investment office vendors, as needed.
• Reviews and ensures compliance with Investment Policy Statement.
• Ongoing internal reporting, including Investment Committee.
• Drives professional development by seeking education to meet skills competency. 
• Works with colleagues to ensure high-performing and inclusive environment. 
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
• Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
