Adamas Building Services is looking for an exceptional Security Officer with experience working in luxury residential communities. Our company is a leading expert in the Residential Services market with properties throughout New Jersey, New York and Florida. We have currently have an opening in our Parsippany, NJ  location.

Pay: $18.00 / Hour

Schedule:  

Overnight Shifts

• Guard A — Full-Time (Overnight)
  • Days: Monday – Thursday
  • Hours: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Total: 36 hours/week 
• Guard B — Part-Time (Overnight Weekend)
  • Days: Friday – Sunday
  • Hours: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Total: 27 hours/week

Evening Shifts

• Guard C — Part-Time (Weekday Evening)
  • Days: Monday – Thursday
  • Hours: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Total: 16 hours/week 
• Guard D — Part-Time (Weekend Evening)
  • Days: Friday – Sunday
  • Hours: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Total: 12 hours/week

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance, and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points. 
• Observing any conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards and reporting to management
• Responding to emergency situations and/or alarms and contact appropriate emergency services as needed
• Becoming familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic - know the residents, visitors, and guests and monitor for the presence of unauthorized persons.
• Performing required patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Knowing the facility / building policies and procedures; enforce them within the limits of the position
• Investigating and preparing reports on accidents, suspicious activities and incidents as well as following established emergency procedures
• Maintaining a professional demeanor when assisting residents, visitors, and guests
• Monitoring alarms and systems

Full Time Employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days with a 401k match after one year of employment.

• Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Must pass comprehensive background checks
