The Opportunity
We're looking for a Graduate to join our Managed Services team in Pōneke/Wellington who will start with us as soon as possible this year.
Our Managed Services team helps clients keep important technology services running effectively. In this customer-facing role, you'll support day-to-day service delivery, incident coordination and clear communication between clients, service delivery leads and technical teams.
You'll build practical experience in how technology-enabled services are managed, including supporting service requests and incidents, helping coordinate changes, tracking actions and providing timely updates to stakeholders. You'll also gain exposure to cybersecurity and the wider technology environment as you develop in the role.
As a Graduate, you'll work closely with experienced team members who will help you build your confidence, technical understanding and customer service skills. The role is designed to give you a strong foundation in IT and Managed Services, with pathways into service delivery management, technology, consulting and other client-facing roles.
You'll join a collaborative and supportive team where people are encouraged to ask questions, contribute ideas and learn from each other. The role will initially work standard Monday-to-Friday hours. Once you're fully trained and confident in the role, you'll also take part in an on-call roster to support service delivery when required.
What you’ll bring
This role may suit you if you:
Are currently studying towards, or have recently completed a Bachelor-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, Business, Operations or a related discipline.
Have strong communication and people skills and feel comfortable building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Are organised, detail-focused and able to keep track of multiple tasks and priorities.
Have an interest in technology, IT service management, incident management or cybersecurity.
Are proactive, self-motivated, curious and willing to learn.
Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to a supportive team environment.
Are confident communicating with customers and can provide clear, professional updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Before you apply, please ensure you have your latest CV and academic transcript ready. You can only apply for one job. In the application form, let us know if you'd be open to other roles, and we'll handle the rest - no need to apply multiple times.
Eligibility: Applications are open to New Zealand or Australian citizens and permanent residents. Candidates on student or work visas may only apply for roles in our Audit, Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT), and Internal Audit & GRC teams, provided they meet specific eligibility criteria.
