Reports to: Sr Director, Projects & Engineering Services

The salary range for this position is based on experience level ranging from $128,000 to $160,000 plus up to 16% bonus

Summary:
Manage Gas Control and SCADA operations and engineering functions supporting the safety, reliability, and security of gas transmission and distribution systems. Provide leadership, budget oversight, personnel management, compliance accountability, system enhancements, emergency backup center operations, and 24x7 operational support.
Key Responsibilities
• Direct daily and long-term operational activities and staff priorities.
• Manage staffing, performance, development, hiring, disciplinary actions, and succession planning.
• Oversee budgets, cost controls, capital planning, resource allocation, reporting, and compliance tracking.
• Maintain SCADA databases, telemetry data, EMS information, and supporting control systems.
• Prepare for and support federal and state audits and regulatory reviews.
• Ensure compliance with PHMSA, state requirements, and company operating procedures during normal and emergency conditions.
• Develop and maintain Control Room Management plans, operating procedures, and reliability practices.
• Coordinate resolution of technical and procedural issues with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support system upgrades, maintenance initiatives, infrastructure projects, and emergency response activities.
• Represent the company on industry committees, forums, and working groups.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 8 years of supervisory and control room experience; OR associate degree and 10 years of supervisory and control room experience; OR High School Diploma and 12+ years of supervisory and control room experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Leadership, communication, analytical, project management, engineering management, administrative, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of interdepartmental operations and demonstrated storm restoration leadership.
• Travel required
