The Opportunity
This position works out of our Columbus or Cincinnati, Ohio locations in the Nutrition Division.
Overview
This role is the operational backbone of ANI's Global Digital and eCommerce function — a newly built, centrally led capability scaling across Pacific Asia, LATAM, and EMEA. The eComm Ops Manager translates global strategy into execution-ready operations: managing the full vendor and procurement lifecycle, coordinating cross-regional workstreams, and ensuring that commercial, compliance, and governance processes run with precision across a high-velocity, multi-market portfolio.
This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates with commercial instinct, and wants to build expertise in eCommerce and digital operations at global scale. The growth path leads directly into a specialized eComm or Digital track — performance media operations, marketplace management, social commerce, or MarTech — based on demonstrated capability.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Key Responsibilities
eComm & Digital Operations
- Own day-to-day operational management of all active digital and eCommerce workstreams across SEA/APAC, LATAM, and EMEA
- Serve as the central coordination point between regional leads (Pacific Asia, LATAM, EMEA), global digital functions, and priority market-level teams
- Maintain a live view of priorities, dependencies, and delivery status across the global digital portfolio
- Manage rhythm of business: weekly/bi-weekly check-ins, sprint reviews, and quarterly business reviews with regional teams
- Escalate blockers and surface risks to the Director with options, not just flags
Vendor & Procurement Management
- Lead onboarding of all global digital vendors — coordinating across Procurement, Legal, IT Security, and Finance
- Own vendor contracting lifecycle: scope finalization, MSA/SOW management, PO processing, and renewal tracking
- Manage ongoing vendor performance: deliverables, SLAs, invoicing accuracy, and budget reconciliation
- Support RFP processes for tools and agencies (influencer vetting, MarTech, content production, social listening)
- Maintain a master vendor registry covering contract terms, renewal dates, cost tracking, and approval status
Governance & Compliance Ops
- Support MLR (Medical-Legal-Regulatory) process coordination for digital content — tracking submissions, review cycles, and approval status across markets
- Ensure DRB (Digital Review Board) compliance across all global social channels per Abbott corporate policy
- Coordinate ANI Veeva governance workstreams with regional marketing teams and the AN PM
- Support brand-safety and IP controls in partnership with platform vendors (TikTok, Meta, Google)
- Build and maintain SOPs for governance processes that can scale across markets without white-gloving.
Data & Performance Ops
- Aggregate digital KPIs and operational data from affiliate markets into a consolidated reporting view for global leadership
- Support P&L standardization and baseline exercise across eComm markets — ensuring consistent cost and revenue classification
- Manage reporting cadence and template standardization across regions
- Flag data gaps, inconsistencies, or methodology mismatches across markets
Capability & Knowledge Ops
- Document best practices, playbooks, and standard operating procedures from high-performing markets
- Coordinate global digital workshops and capability-building sessions — logistics, content preparation, follow-through
- Manage the ANI Digital knowledge repository: ensuring materials are current, accessible, and version-controlled
- Support onboarding of new market teams into global tools, platforms, and operating norms
- Synthesize learnings from regional activations into scalable blueprints for emerging markets
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8-10 years in digital operations, eCommerce operations, program management, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with clear ownership and follow-through within large regulated enterprises
- Experience with vendor management or procurement processes within regulated enterprise ecosystem — ideally in a marketing or digital context
- Strong data and financial literacy: comfortable aggregating and interpreting performance and financial data across platforms
- Excellent written communication — able to produce crisp status updates, SOPs, and executive-facing summaries
- Collaborative and proactive; builds trust with regional partners across time zones
Preferred:
- Prior exposure to e-Retail or Direct-to-Consumer ecosystem (Amazon, Mercado Libre, Owned web/loyalty ecosystems) and/or digital marketing platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok Ads)
- Experience in a global or regional role coordinating across markets in APAC, LATAM, or EMEA
- Familiarity with MLR, DRB, or regulated content approval workflows and cross functional management of regulated categories
- Knowledge of MarTech solutions: Adobe, Veeva, Salesforce, MMM platforms, or social listening tools
- Experience in FMCG, healthcare, or nutrition — understanding of commercial and compliance context
MISC:
- This is an on-site role - not a remote role.
- Relocation assistance is not offered for this role.
- Travel – 20%
