Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E.)
Location: Raleigh, NC (Relocation Assistance Provided)
Base Salary: Up to $160,000
Position Overview A premier, multidisciplinary engineering and architecture firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer II (P.E.) to serve as a technical authority on complex commercial infrastructure and building systems. Core Responsibilities
· Technical Leadership & Design: Lead the design, technical development, detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for complex commercial projects.
· System Integration: Oversee the cohesive integration of electrical systems alongside civil, mechanical, structural, and environmental disciplines.
· Project Oversight & QC: Perform quality control reviews at key milestones, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide engineering oversight during construction—including site visits and submittal reviews.
· Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineering staff, partner with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.
Qualifications
· Licensure: Active Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) credential required.
· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
· Experience: 10 to 15 years of engineering design and project management experience, specifically working with MEP and Fire Prevention systems in the commercial sector.
· Track Record: Proven ability to lead large or complex engineering projects.
