Key duties and responsibilities:
Drive the improvement of maintenance planning practices across both mobile mining equipment and fixed plant assets, working directly with client maintenance teams on-site
Coach and develop client planners and supervisors through structured, on-the-job training – demonstrating best practices and embedding them into daily work routines
Support the design and implementation of work management processes, including how maintenance jobs are identified, planned, scheduled, executed, and recorded
Contribute to building maintenance planning frameworks, tools, and reference materials that the client team will continue to use independently after the program
Track and communicate progress against capability improvement milestones, identifying gaps and adjusting the coaching approach accordingly
Collaborate closely with Accenture's teams and client counterparts to ensure improvements are aligned to overall program objectives
Ability to deliver and ensure high quality and sustainable project benefits for the company, focusing on eliminating safety risks and incidents, increasing productivity and reducing costs
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline
- 4–10 years of experience in a mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial environment – with a minimum of 3 years in a dedicated maintenance planning or scheduling role (not a technician or field supervisor role)
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using a computerized maintenance management system (such as SAP Plant Maintenance, IBM Maximo, PRONTO, or Ellipse) in a daily planning capacity
- Direct experience in work management: planning and scheduling maintenance activities, managing work order backlogs, and coordinating planned versus corrective maintenance
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or delivering structured training to maintenance staff – even informally as a senior practitioner guiding a team
- Bahasa Indonesia: professional or native fluency – mandatory. Daily work with Indonesian maintenance teams will be conducted in Bahasa
- Willing and available to be stationed at a client’s site for the assignment duration
- Experience in copper, nickel, base metals mining, or equivalent heavy process industry (oil & gas refinery, smelter, or petrochemical plant) is highly preferred
Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters):
- Strong domain expertise in maintenance planning – able to demonstrate, not just describe, best practices to a client workforce
- A trainer's mindset: patient, structured, and focused on building others' capability rather than doing the work for them
- Practical knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies, component life management, and work execution standards for either mobile equipment or fixed plant
- Data-driven approach to measuring and communicating maintenance performance improvement
- High interpersonal effectiveness and cultural adaptability – able to work closely with Indonesian maintenance crews, supervisors, and management
- Self-directed and resilient – able to work productively at a remote mine site with limited day-to-day supervision
- Strong oral and written communication in Bahasa Indonesia; working English proficiency is an advantage
- Formal maintenance or reliability qualification (such as CMRP – Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) is highly preferred
