Job Description

As a Security Officer Community Patrol Driver in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and healthcare-related personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of community grounds, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card is required. 
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
