Description
The purpose of this position is to provide strategic oversight and guidance in monitoring and reviewing compliance operations across business divisions in the Cayman Islands.
The Vice President will support senior management in ensuring adherence to local legislation and global financial crime policies, act as a key liaison with regulatory authorities, coordinate regulatory audits, and advise Group Compliance on emerging regulatory developments.
In the capacity of Compliance Officer and MLRO, this role includes management of suspicious transaction reports, maintaining and updating policies and procedures to reflect legislative changes, conducting monitoring reviews, and preparing and presenting comprehensive compliance reports to the Board.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in the Cayman Island’s financial services sector as a Compliance Officer and MLRO.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory matters, specifically KYC and AML, with the ability to engage directly with regulators.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of management.
