Production Supervisor – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts

We are seeking experienced Production Supervisors to join a manufacturing operation in Waterloo, Iowa. Multiple openings are available across all three shifts.

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM

The Production Supervisor will lead manufacturing employees, organize and monitor workflow, maintain production and quality standards, support workplace safety, and ensure materials and resources are available to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise manufacturing employees and coordinate daily production activities.
• Schedule and assign personnel based on production requirements and priorities.
• Monitor workflow, production schedules, equipment, personnel, and resources.
• Coach, train, counsel, and develop production employees.
• Monitor production performance and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain established quality standards and serve as a quality resource within the assigned area.
• Identify potential workplace safety concerns and ensure established safety procedures are followed.
• Coordinate materials and resources needed to support production.
• Compile and analyze production performance information and provide shift-production reporting.
• Help improve workflow, efficiency, and operating processes.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive work environment.
• Spend approximately 50% of working time performing direct labor within the assigned area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees and achieve results through others.
• Strong problem-analysis and problem-resolution skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft products.
• Valid driver's license required.

Local or commutable candidates are preferred. Candidates elsewhere in Iowa or surrounding areas may also be considered if willing to relocate at their own expense.

Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, with full benefits.
