Logistics Coordinator
Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for a wide range of tasks supporting the organization’s objective of delivering equipment and supplies in an efficient and effective manner. This individual is also responsible for overseeing warehouse-related tasks.
Delivery Functions:
Create and coordinate multiple daily delivery routes that use resources in an efficient manner.
Contact customers via phone and email to arrange and confirm delivery appointments.
Work with sales, order processing, field service, and warehouse to ensure smooth operations.
Arrange and coordinate third-party delivery assistance as needed.
Maintain accurate order statuses, scheduling updates, and customer notes within the EA system.
Provide ongoing communication and support to delivery drivers and field personnel.
Monitor delivery schedules and proactively resolve logistical or customer issues.
Ensure customers receive timely updates regarding delivery timing and scheduling changes.
Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Warehouse Functions:
Receive incoming inventory and assign orders as needed.
Ensure inventory integrity through good practices and periodic counts.
Communicate equipment status or concerns for all orders.
Process sales orders and initiate the fulfillment process.
Monitor Shop Build process to ensure orders are ready for their designated delivery date.
Stage and verify all next day deliveries.
Maintain neat and organized equipment / warehouse.
Perform other tasks as needed and directed by management.
Required Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
Effective organizational and multitasking abilities
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and adapt in a challenging environment.
Strong customer service and critical thinking skills
Experience coordinating schedules, logistics, or dispatch operations preferred.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Ability to sit at a desk and stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to lift 50lbs on occasion.
Ability to work in fast paced environment.
Able to work overtime as needed.
