Description
The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition will be a strategic, hands-on recruiting leader responsible for leading professional and management recruiting across North America. Reporting to the Head of Global Talent Acquisition, this leader will manage and develop a team of approximately five recruiters while also personally owning a portfolio of critical and senior-level searches.
This is a player-coach role for a competitive, high-caliber talent acquisition leader who can build world-class recruiters, strengthen recruiting discipline, and serve as a credible talent advisor to business and HR leaders. The role will support hiring across G&A, commercial, product, engineering, and other professional and management-level functions, excluding high-volume manufacturing hiring.
The ideal candidate will bring strong recruiting fundamentals, executive presence, excellent account management skills, and the ability to hunt for hard-to-find talent. Commercial recruiting experience is highly valued, and executive search or senior-level recruiting experience would be a significant plus.

- Lead, coach, and develop a North America recruiting team of approximately five recruiters supporting professional and management hiring.
- Build a team culture grounded in accountability, urgency, strong sourcing discipline, candidate experience, and continuous improvement.
- Develop recruiters into trusted talent advisors who can influence hiring managers, understand talent markets, and manage searches with rigor.
- Raise the bar on recruiting execution, including intake quality, sourcing strategy, pipeline development, assessment discipline, and offer management.
- Provide hands-on coaching through active searches,
candidate calibration, stakeholder management, and hiring manager engagement.
Professional and Management Recruiting Execution:
- Lead recruiting delivery for North America management and professional roles across G&A, commercial, product, engineering, and related functions, excluding high-volume manufacturing hiring.
- Partner closely with the Head of Global Talent Acquisition to execute the broader talent acquisition strategy at the regional level.
- Translate business priorities into practical recruiting plans, talent pipelines, and market-facing search strategies.
- Support a major focus on up-leveling commercial talent over the first 24 months.
- Use recruiting data and operating metrics, including pipeline health, conversion, time-to-fill, quality of slate, and offer acceptance, to manage performance and drive accountability.
Stakeholder Partnership:
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders, HR partners, and hiring managers across North America.
- Run a disciplined account management model with clear communication, search updates, pipeline visibility, and issue escalation.
- Advise leaders on talent market dynamics, candidate availability, compensation realities, competitive intelligence, and hiring process effectiveness.
Senior Level Recruiting & Talent:
- Manage select high-priority, confidential, senior-level, or business-critical searches, potentially including VP-level roles.
- Bring a search-oriented mindset to critical roles, including proactive sourcing, candidate development, and competitive talent intelligence.
Additional Preferred Attributes:
- Experience operating in a matrixed, global organization.
- Executive recruiting experience, including personally leading senior and C-suite searches.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ATS and AI-enabled talent platforms such as Eightfold.
- Handle confidential information and sensitive searches with discretion, integrity, and excellent judgement.
- Strong work ethic, a low ego, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
