SEN Teaching Assistant SEMH Support BS36 Full-Time ASAP Start  A fabulous Primary School in the BS36 area of South Gloucestershire is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work closely with a pupil in their Year 4 Class.  This highly regarded Primary School is supportive to pupils, parents and their staff. The staff at this school are passionate about drawing the best in all pupils, personally and academically. You will be joining a dedicated and skilled team who are caring and support one another to provide an energetic and caring environment for their students.  The Role  As a successful candidate, you will be joining a 2 form entry Primary School ASAP, working closely with the KS2 team to support a pupil with SEMH needs on a 1 to 1 basis.  As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to provide additional support through scaffolding to maintain focus and interest in their learning environment.  You will be expected to: Have high expectations of the pupil you will be working with. Previous experience working with SEND children. Be a team player - able to communicate clearly. Work closely with the Class Teacher to resource creative activities to meet the need of the pupil. Liaise with the SENCo for additional activities. Be a resourceful candidate, who can adapt lessons to meet the needs of individuals. Working with Long-term Teachers: We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools. LTT was founded with the aim of creating a genuine, transparent and straightforward service to help candidates secure their next role.
