Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our growing team.
The Account Manager supports the Account Executive by assisting in the day-to-day management of client accounts. This role involves coordinating client communications, executing account strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. The Account Manager acts as a liaison between clients and internal teams to meet client needs and drive satisfaction.
How You Will Contribute:
Client Management:
Assist in managing client accounts, ensuring timely and effective communication. Address client inquiries, issues, and requests with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
Prepare and deliver client presentations, reports, and updates under the guidance of the Account Executive.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive problem-solving.
Support Account Executive in developing account strategies and identifying opportunities for account growth.
Project Coordination:
Coordinate and track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Account Executive, benefit administrator, sales) to ensure projects are executed according to client specifications and deadlines.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to clients and Account Executive.
Administration Support:
Maintain and organize account files, documentation, and records.
Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
Assist in the preparation of proposals, contracts, and invoices.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with benefits vendors and service providers.
Employee Support:
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefits-related questions and issues.
Conduct benefits orientations and workshops to enhance employee understanding and engagement.
Develop and deliver communication materials to educate employees about their benefits, options and changes.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
Required
Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1-2 years of experience in account management, client services, or related fields.
Florida Life & Health Insurance license (2-15) with 30 days of hire
Valid driver’s license
Proficient with MS Office Suite and Excel
Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Travel may be required
Preferred
Associate’s or Bachelor’s in a business or financial related discipline or experience in lieu of degree
Professional designation
Minimum typing speed of 40 to 50 words per minute
Agency Management System knowledge
Pay Range
31.25 - 31.25 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
