Client Executive, Employee Benefits
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Executive to join a Employee Benefits team. This role is pivotal in managing and growing our employee benefits client base, providing innovative solutions to manage health plans, mitigate risks, and reduce overall employee benefits costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health insurance strategies, exceptional client service skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. This position requires a minimum of 10-12 years of industry experience and an active Life & Health license.
Compensation Package
- Salary: Up to $115,000, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for clients’ employee benefits programs, including compliance, HR policies, employee communication, and payroll/benefits administration.
- Co-manage the client service experience, fostering strong relationships with client teams.
- Address and resolve day-to-day client and vendor-related service issues promptly and effectively.
- Assist with marketing new business opportunities and analyzing proposals to recommend plan changes.
- Coordinate renewals or changes with carriers for existing accounts.
- Review policies for accuracy and completeness.
- Continuously enhance insurance knowledge and skills through educational opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, marketing, risk management, or human resources management is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of industry experience on the agency side is strongly preferred.
- Licensing: Active Life & Health license is required.
- Technical Skills: Experience with the EPIC agency management system is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Extensive understanding of health insurance strategies, including alternative funding methods (level funding, self-funding), stop-loss marketing, Rx programs, reference-based pricing, and direct contracts.
