Build the future of investments at ING. ING is building a scalable international investments platform. As Tax Specialist in the CoE Investments Processes team, you help make sure tax-related investment processes are clear, compliant and workable for the countries that use our platform. You are the person who connects tax expertise with process design, implementation and daily operations.

The team
You will be part of the CoE Investments Processes team within the Global Investments Tribe. The team drives investments operations processes, driving harmonization, operational excellence and sustainable growth of investment services across our ING countries.
Roles and responsibilities
- Own and improve tax-related investment processes across the end-to-end Investments chain.
- Translate tax legislation and policy changes into clear process, data, control and implementation requirements.
- Support countries during onboarding and roll-outs with practical guidance and workable solutions.
- Work closely with Group Tax, Product, Operations, IT and country teams.
- Keep process documentation and decision-making clear, current and easy to use.
- Support control testing and follow-up on improvements where tax processes require strong evidence and traceability.
How to succeed
You are a proactive tax professional who likes ownership, structure and collaboration. You do not only know the rules, you understand what they mean for processes, data, controls and colleagues who need to execute them. You enjoy working with different countries and making complex topics simple enough to implement.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a related field
- Experience with investment tax processes in banking, asset management, brokerage, custody or investment servicing.
- Knowledge of US Withholding, FATCA, CRS or comparable tax reporting and withholding processes.
- Ability to make complex tax topics practical for business, operations and implementation teams.
- Strong stakeholder management in an international or multi-country environment.
- Structured, analytical and hands-on way of working.
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills; fluent English. Dutch is a plus.
