Job Description

As a Security Officer Customer Care Patrol in Mountain View, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, facility hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
