- Develop scripts and automation solutions to streamline provisioning, monitoring, reporting, and operational activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to deliver infrastructure projects and resolve technical challenges.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, recovery plans, and configuration records.
- Participate in planned maintenance activities and on-call support when required.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise storage and backup administration, engineering, and infrastructure support.
- Extensive experience managing and troubleshooting enterprise block and file storage solutions, preferably NetApp, Dell PowerStore, and Dell ECS.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise backup platforms, particularly Dell Avamar, PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM), Data Domain, and Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Solid understanding of SAN technologies and Fibre Channel environments, including Cisco/Brocade switches, VSANs, WWPNs, NPIV, multipathing, and iSCSI.
- Strong expertise in storage performance management, data protection, disaster recovery, replication, and backup best practices.
- Good understanding of networking technologies and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Python, Shell, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V, as well as cloud storage solutions such as AWS S3 and Azure Blob Storage.
- Knowledge of ITIL service management methodologies and experience working in complex IT operational environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
