Senior Commercial Loan Closing Representative

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Closing Representative to support the successful execution of commercial lending transactions within Wholesale Operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering an accurate, timely, and controlled loan closing process while partnering with internal stakeholders, legal teams, relationship managers, and customers. Your work directly contributes to operational excellence, risk management, and an enhanced client experience, supporting the Chief Operating Office's commitment to effective, efficient, and customer-focused operations. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in commercial loan documentation and closing processes, collaborate across teams, and help drive process consistency and control in a dynamic environment.

In this role, you will:

• Support performance of less experienced staff and overall effectiveness of team
• Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Commercial Loan Closing
• Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record to ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Perform complex legal activities for loan documentation that may also include documentation purchased from a third party source, internal staff and the Corporate Legal Group
• Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to less experienced individuals
• Work collaboratively with Credit, Sales and Legal regarding proper procedures and documentation requirements necessary to ensure accuracy with negotiated terms and ensure alignment with appropriate compliance standards
• Interact with immediate team and Commercial Loan Closing
• Interact with internal customers

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Commercial Loan Closing support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Experience in handling Loan Syndication processes, including deal setup, funding, borrower servicing, and lender communications.
• Strong working knowledge of Loans IQ, with experience in loan booking, maintenance, payment processing, and transaction management.
• Hands-on experience in Commercial Loan Closing, ensuring accurate documentation review, funding coordination, and adherence to operational procedures.
• Exposure to the end-to-end commercial lending lifecycle, including loan onboarding, servicing, amendments, and payoff activities.
• Proven ability to support syndicated and commercial loan operations while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and service level expectations.

Job Expectations:

• Flexible to work in rotational shifts based on business requirements.
• Standard work schedule; however, candidates should be willing to provide weekend support if business needs arise.
• Comfortable working night shifts as part of operational environment.
• Preference will be given to candidates who can join within 45 days or earlier, ensuring timely onboarding and business continuity.
• Demonstrates adaptability to changing work schedules and operational demands when required.
