Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.

The work model for the role is: #L-Onsite

This role is contributing to the ELSP in Juarez, NL, Mexico. Main stakeholders are ELECTRIFICATION team and stakeholders.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Resource allocation: Organizes and allocates resources to effectively and efficiently meet inspection rate targets. Responds to resource issues as necessary. Leads capacity planning and resource optimization for the testing area.
• Production scheduling and testing plan: Executes testing plan accordingly to production plan to meet the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan.
• Equipment and facilities: Identifies and recommends technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
• Testing execution: Ensures execution of quality testing of equipment, conforming product, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned complexity of the product.
• Operations improvement: Identifies deficiencies in testing process efficiency, proposes improvement activities, and oversees implementation of actions to improve testing performance.
• Critical line issues: Manages the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams /respective quality specialist.
• People leadership and development: Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
• HSE and Quality Focus: Works with the quality and HSE team to ensure compliance of the hourly employees to the quality and safety criteria defined for the product.

Qualifications for the role

• A Bachelor's degree. (Engineering background desired).
• 3-5 years of experience in similar positions (Electrification/Electrical components process knowledge is a plus).
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, strong written & spoken communication skills.
• Leader/Interpersonal/Management of teams skills as the candidate will coordinate a group of blue collar staff. (+20)
• Be able of develop the analysis of the issues detected during the assembly process in order to ensure the high quality of the product. (RCA, A3, DMAIC Methodology, 8Ds, etc.)
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Basic English level.
• Full Shift supervision and willing to rotate if necessary
