Commercial Insurance Producer

Job Summary:

Seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial Insurance Producer to join the team. This role involves cultivating new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and offering tailored commercial insurance solutions to meet their unique needs. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with deep knowledge of insurance products and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular communication and personalized service.
• Consult with clients to assess their commercial insurance needs and recommend suitable policy options.
• Educate clients on coverage details, available policies, and industry best practices to ensure informed decision-making.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive insurance proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to ensure timely quotes, accurate policy issuance, and seamless account management.
• Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and emerging insurance products.
• Participate in networking events, conferences, and community activities to enhance the company’s visibility and build professional connections.
• Maintain detailed client records in the CRM system and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid Insurance Producer License in good standing, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management principles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• Goal-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
• Existing network of industry contacts and proven experience leveraging relationships to close sales.
• Prior experience working in commercial insurance sales or account management.
