Description
A commercial-stage medical device company is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead adoption of an innovative orthopedic surgical implant across the Philadelphia and South Jersey territory. This remote, field-based role will own territory revenue goals and support the introduction of a new connective-tissue restoration technology to surgeons and healthcare facilities.
The Area Sales Manager will develop the territory, communicate the technology’s clinical and commercial value, train surgeons and operating room staff, support procedures, negotiate pricing and contracts, and manage consigned inventory. Candidates must hold a four-year BA or BS degree and bring demonstrated success in quota-carrying medical device sales, launching disruptive technologies, managing a large geography, and supporting cases in the operating room; orthopedic or sports-surgery experience is preferred, with travel up to 80%.
