ABOUT THE TEAM
The Seabed Sentry team is responsible for Maritime Domain Awareness providing subsea autonomous sensing and communication across critical commercial and defense mission sets. You'll operate in a fast-paced environment where small empowered teams move with urgency to deliver cutting-edge maritime capabilities from concept to deployment in months, not years. We bias toward action, embrace ambiguity, and expect technical program managers to drive execution with minimal bureaucracy — because the mission and the warfighter can't wait.
ABOUT THE JOB
Anduril Industries is seeking our next Technical Program Manager to lead international deployment execution for a maritime undersea domain awareness program. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, program management, and customer delivery — you will own the end-to-end execution of international demonstrations and system deployments, from planning through on-site execution. You will be the connective tissue between product teams, engineering, operations, business development, and international customers. This is not a role where you manage from a distance — you will be in the details, in the room with the customer, and accountable for delivery. Our next Technical Program Manager is the person who is energized by complexity, who builds trust with customers through competence and follow-through, and seeks to put order to chaos.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own planning, scheduling, and execution of international system deployments and demonstrations for undersea domain awareness capabilities
- Build and maintain program schedules in Jira, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and critical path items are current and visible to all stakeholders
- Develop and maintain milestone trackers, risk registers, and action item burndowns across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Drive technical alignment across hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure deployment-ready configurations meet customer requirements
- Prepare and deliver technical briefings and program status reviews to international customers, senior leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Coordinate logistics for international hardware shipments including export compliance, temporary import/permanent export documentation, and customs coordination
- Identify and manage risks and dependencies across engineering, supply chain, compliance, and operations — escalate early and with proposed mitigations
- Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering tasking and ensure product teams understand the operational context behind what they're building
- Keep Jira updated as the single source of truth for schedule status — ensure sprint planning, epic tracking, and program milestones reflect reality, not aspirations
- Drive alignment across stakeholders who don't always agree — get decisions made, documented, and executed
- Support contract amendment processes, milestone payment tracking, and deliverable acceptance with the customer
- Document product baselines, configuration states, and deployment readiness criteria in Confluence
- Operate as the single point of accountability for deployment readiness — if something isn't tracking, you own the recovery plan
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical program management experience, preferably in defense, maritime, or aerospace
- Demonstrated ability to manage international customer engagements and deployments in high-stakes environments
- Strong technical foundation — able to go deep on systems architecture, integration challenges, and hardware/software trade-offs without relying on engineering to translate for you
- Experience building and presenting technical briefings to senior military and government stakeholders
- Track record of managing complex, multi-team schedules with interdependent milestones and hard deadlines
- Proficiency in Jira for program scheduling, sprint management, and milestone tracking — you treat the tool as a real-time reflection of program health, not an administrative chore
- Exceptional organizational skills — you are the person who tracks every action item, every dependency, every open risk, and doesn't let things fall through
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and high-pressure situations where the plan is changing and decisions have real consequences
- Experience with export control processes (ITAR/EAR) and international logistics
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, contract structures (FFP, T&M, CPFF), and milestone-based deliverables
- Ability to travel internationally up to 25%-40%, including extended deployments for demonstrations
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in undersea warfare, autonomous systems, or maritime ISR programs
- Background in systems engineering or test & evaluation
- Experience working with Indo-Pacific partner nations
- Experience with Confluence for documentation and product baseline management
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
