Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Management in PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Security Officer at a residential location, where you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment for residents and visitors. Monitor entry points, verify access credentials, manage visitor and badge activity, and provide exceptional customer service. Use technology to document activity and communicate professionally while helping to deter incidents. Our agile, reliable, innovative team puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or guests while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle access records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Enforce community access rules professionally and courteously, provide directions and assistance as needed, and complete required activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
