Job Description Summary:
The Sales Planning Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to commercial leadership, translating data into actionable insights that improve growth, sales effectiveness, and resource productivity. This role combines business partnership, analytics, and sales planning responsibilities to support decision-making across key commercial initiatives.A successful business partner will drive the following outcomes:

3. Better commercial execution – how leaders translate insights into action
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
Business Partnership & Strategic Planning
Serve as the primary Commercial Enablement partner to Sales Leadership
Lead sales planning initiatives including goal setting, resource deployment, territory optimization, and performance management
Assess effectiveness of resource deployment strategy and deliver recommendations that improve commercial execution, productivity, and growth
Design and embed planning processes, decision frameworks, and performance management cadences that improve operating discipline
Analytics & Decision Support
Develop resource deployment models, business cases, and performance analyses to support strategic investments and translate insights into resourcing decisions
Assess and enhance the overall reporting & analytics suite, ensuring reporting enables leaders to identify performance gaps, prioritize action, and manage execution
Identify trends, risks, and root causes impacting performance and recommend corrective actions
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure data systems & solutions enable business priorities
Market Opportunity & Growth Planning
Evaluate market potential and growth opportunities across geographies, customer segments, and therapeutic focus areas
Partner with field leaders to define customer segments, identify growth opportunities and monitor execution against plans
Assess market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to inform GTM priorities

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or related field
5+ years of experience in commercial analytics, sales operations, business planning, consulting, finance, or related strategic functions
Experience supporting sales or commercial leaders with insights, planning, and decision support
Prior people leadership experience preferred
Basic Qualifications
Strong understanding of sales performance drivers and commercial planning principles
Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, including experience working with large and complex datasets
Ability to build executive-level business cases and forecasting models
Proficiency with Excel, Power BI (or similar BI tools), and data analysis methodologies
Experience with sales force sizing, territory design, quota setting, or resource deployment methodologies
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analyses into clear business recommendations
Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders
Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of improving business processes and workflows
Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills
Working knowledge of SQL, Salesforce, and other reporting environments preferred

Home infusion, specialty pharmacy, alternate site care, provider sales, or healthcare services experience
