OverviewEnterprise Security Services Corporation is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to support retail and shopping-center sites in the Winchester area. A women-owned and minority-owned company with 30-plus years of experience, we provide attentive, professional security with a focus on protecting people and property.Where you'll workOfficers serve client locations in and around Winchester, primarily retail stores and shopping centers, along with similar venues. Assignments are based on coverage needs and can change from one to the next, so we look for officers who can work dependably across the local area.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a visible deterrent against shoplifting, theft, and disorderly conductObserve shopper and staff activity to identify suspicious or unsafe behaviorPatrol sales floors, entrances, and parking areas throughout the shiftRespond to and document incidents of theft or disturbance accuratelyProvide courteous assistance and directions to customersMonitor surveillance equipment and report concerns to managementSupport opening and closing procedures as assignedRequirementsPossess or be able to obtain a Virginia DCJS unarmed security officer registrationMeet Virginia's minimum age and eligibility requirements for security registrationPass a criminal background checkReliable transportation to assigned sites in the Winchester areaSharp observation skills and attention to detailAble to stand and patrol for extended periodsRetail security or loss-prevention experience is a plus, but not requiredBenefitsConsistent weekly pay (per our standard pay cycle)Schedules that adapt to your availabilityThe ability to take on more shifts across multiple sitesProfessional growth as assignments expandUniform & equipmentClass A black uniform required (ability to obtain); equipment may be issued.ScheduleDay, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be available based on assignment.How to applyClick Apply to get started.
