About the Role
We are looking for a talented and growth-minded Senior Product Manager to develop compelling, competitive, and innovative App products for the Taiwan market. In this role, you will initially champion the TW Bus Tracker App, the top-rated and most widely used transportation utility app in Taiwan, while pioneering how to integrate emerging AI capabilities to enhance utility features, user retention, and overall app value.
In this role you will grow your scope to drive broader media initiatives across Yahoo Taiwan’s digital ecosystem (including web and app platforms for Homepage, News, Sports, Finance, Yahoo TV, and Autos). Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the TW Bus Tracker App and future media products, aligning user experience with business objectives.
Feature Innovation & AI Exploration: Lead the development of core app functionalities, personalized user experience, and seamless recommendation systems, while proactively leveraging emerging AI technologies to drive product evolution and product operational efficiency.
Own the product lifecycle from ideation, requirement definition, and UI/UX wireframing, to A/B testing, launch, and post-launch optimization, ensuring high-quality and on-time delivery.
Utilize generative AI tools to synthesize insights from customer feedback (surveys, interviews, analytics) to accelerate the definition of Product Priorities and MVPs.
Identify and implement AI-driven efficiencies in day-to-day work, replacing manual feedback analysis and documentation tasks with AI-assisted workflows.
Partner closely with a world-class development team (Engineers, Designers, Researchers) and embrace a cross-functional, boundary-pushing role in the Agentic development era.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Define, track, and analyze product success metrics. Make smart daily trade-offs between engagement, feature scope, and revenue based on rigorous data analysis via AI tools.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary advocate for your product line. Clearly communicate product progress, impact, and blockers to leadership and cross-functional task forces.
Growth & Monetization: Drive App user acquisition, engagement, and retention through app growth-hacking frameworks. Boost product monetization by optimizing ad models to accelerate revenue growth.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field is preferred.
6+ years of experience in Product Management with a proven track record of managing and evolving consumer-facing digital products across web and apps.
3+ years of specialized expertise in Mobile App product management, with a strong focus on app growth hacking and engagement features, as well as deep familiarity with in-app growth frameworks, conversion funnels, and retention tactics.
Deep understanding of LBS (Location-Based Services) utility-based mobile applications is highly preferred.
A strong passion for and knowledge of AI-driven products and the Agentic development process, with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance user experience via AI.
Hands-on experience with experimentation platforms and data tools (e.g., A/B testing, Google Analytics).
Comfortable tackling highly complex, technical, and ambiguous projects by breaking them down into manageable, data-backed phases.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; a proactive attitude with the ability to break down silos across teams.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin, with the ability to collaborate in a global/regional matrix environment. Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Taiwan.
